Happy July and welcome to the 49th issue of ‘How Curious!’ ✌️ It turned out to be a busy but super enjoyable month, balancing Spanish school in the morning with client work in the afternoon. I’ve definitely reduced my guilt about my level of Spanish, and it’s awesome to see what can be achieved with focused time-boxing for work. Last month’s highlights include a trip to a rum factory, go-karting, boat trips, and multiple excursions around Gran Canaria. 🍹🏎️

He is an expert in death, but he’s also learned how we can dramatically improve our own lives, often with very small changes. Considering that he has guided or been involved with ~1,000 deaths, it’s not surprising that he’s spotted patterns we can all learn from.

34 Mistakes on the Way to 34 Years Old - Ryan Holiday
I always enjoy author Ryan Holiday’s yearly reflections. This year he focuses on lessons that his failures have taught him. My favourites include: There have been a lot of problems I could have solved earlier if I’d been more willing to seek out experts on the topic.
