Happy March, and welcome to the 32nd issue of ‘How Curious!’ ✌️ February’s highlights included two very different short holidays. The first focused on sports and winter sun in Club La Santa, a popular sports complex in Lanzarote. I’ll certainly be back for more windsurfing, running, football and more! 🏄♂️☀️ The Cologne ‘Crazy Days’ carnival was the destination for an international mystery tour to celebrate my 30th birthday. These trips are particularly fun as attendees only discover the location at the gate as they board the plane. This was my 7th international mystery expedition! 🎉🍻 I’m thinking of putting together a quick ‘how-to’ guide for organising these trips, let me know if you’re interested!

EP: 32: Sustainability & Social Impact of Blockchain for a better world with Anthony Day - The Blockchain Lawyer
Anthony Day, a Blockchain partner in IBM, discusses how emerging technology such as Blockchain can have a meaningful social and climate impact. Anthony is an incredibly smart and articulate person that I’ve had the fortune to work with and count as a mentor. Kudos to Conor for bringing this podcast to my attention.

#370.5: Derek Sivers on Developing Confidence, Finding Happiness, and Saying “No” to Millions - The Tim Ferriss Show
This is my go-to podcast whenever I need a pick-me-up and probably one of the podcast episodes I’ve listened to most. It always makes me smile and gives me motivation. Derek Sivers is a top programmer, master teacher, and merry prankster. Originally a professional musician and circus clown, he created CD Baby in 1998. It became the largest seller of independent music online, with $100 million in sales for 150,000 musicians. In 2008, Derek sold CD Baby for $22 million, giving the proceeds to a charitable trust for music education.

How Will You Measure Your Life? - Clayton M. Christensen (Article)
Don’t worry about the level of individual prominence you have achieved; worry about the individuals you have helped become better people. This is my final recommendation: Think about the metric by which your life will be judged, and make a resolution to live every day so that in the end, your life will be judged a success.
