Hello friends and welcome to the 8th issue of ‘How Curious!‘ ✌️
This edition comes a little later than planned, one of the knock-on effects of a taxing Dublin to London commute! So far my London exploration has been limited to a 30minute stroll around SoHo. Hopefully, this will change now that full-time accommodation has been sourced!
For those few inquiring, no I did not spend this weekend at/watching the Royal Wedding! 👑💒👰

Book Recommendations
As one of the few fictions I’ve read in the past 18 months, the popular dystopian novel 1984 proved to be a nice change of pace and a thoroughly enjoyable read (8/10)!
The book depicts an all-knowing, all-controlling government who use tactics such as mass surveillance, propaganda and perpetual war to keep the population under it’s thumb and maintain power.
War as a tactic to maintain control over the masses.
I had hoped to have reviewed all my previous reads for this newsletter, however my current project in London is proving to be all-consuming! I have instead rated every book and provided a review for those I rate as 8/10 and above: View my bookshelf reviews.
In the next newsletter I’ll be covering the service that enabled me to compile these reviews, and indeed has proved to be the best tech I’ve come across in the past 6 months!
